How to configure IOPS capacity and Storage Latency

Out of the box VMTurbo has IOPS values pre-configured to 500 IOPS capacity and 1000ms Latency.  Here’s how to tailor this to your environment.

On the Policy tab, select Analysis.  This is a Global Storage Setting.

Next let’s look at going a bit more granular.

You can also click on the storage icon underneath analysis to set on a per-type basis:

Let’s take a look at an example.

In all VMTurbo Enterprise and Cloud Operations Manager you can create groups of storage (to capture your storage tiers), and set these values on a per-tier basis.  This feature is not available in the Community Edition.
